This is one of the most colorful traditional events that takes place in Madeira every spring. Many events and festivities are held in Funchal, the capital of the island. The flower carpets cover the streets; processions with concerts and folk dances are organized in the open air.

The celebration of the traditional Portuguese art of music takes place in the Castle of Saint George (Castelo de São Jorge) in Lisbon during June, where everyone can enjoy the best Portuguese fado free of charge.


Santo Antonio Festival · June

The annual festival is dedicated to the patron saint of Lisbon, Santo Antonio, during which festivities take place for several days in June, culminating in a popular procession on June, 12th and a procession on June, 13th in honor of the Saint, who, according to popular belief, helps women find a husband.
